Katie has completed the BSAVA Postgraduate Certificate in Small Animal Ophthalmology and can perform detailed eye examinations of your pet.
This includes:
- Testing for dry eye
- Magnified examination of the eyelids, ocular surface, anterior chamber and lens
- Examination of the retina (back of the eye)
- Testing for blockage of the tear ducts
- Testing for glaucoma
- Ultrasound of the eye
Performing these tests earlier allows for prompt treatment of common conditions of the eye such as dry eye, corneal ulceration, glaucoma, uveitis, etc.
