Fiona qualified from Liverpool Veterinary School in 1999 and spent her first year in a mixed practice before specialising in small animal medicine and surgery.
Fiona has always held an interest in wild and exotic animals so, in 2003, she took the opportunity to undertake a year long Masters degree in Wild Animal Health at the Zoological Society of London and Royal Veterinary College. This led Fiona to travel and volunteer abroad and then spend four years working as a zoo vet.
Since getting married and having two very active boys, Fiona decided to move back into private practice and has concentrated on small animals and private exotics.
After working in busy clinics in Solihull and Bangor Fiona has moved closer to home to join the team at Hollygate Vets.
Fiona's family is completed by Timber, her King Charles Spaniel, six chickens and the occasional over wintering hedgehog!
